Giving Back

We would like to thank all our clients and candidates for partnering with Harris Lord this year. As an independent business, we are always incredibly grateful to have such supportive clients and candidates.

For the third year on a row, the team decided they wanted to make a donation to charity and we took our time to find one close to our hearts.

We chose Re-engage who tackle loneliness and social isolation for older people aged 75 and over, believing people are never too old to make friends.  By bringing generations together, they provide regular opportunities for them to make new friends in their local communities and over the phone.

• More than 2.3 million people aged over 75 live alone, many of them experiencing near constant loneliness
• With the pandemic and now the cost-of-living crisis, many older people across the UK are struggling with grief, fear and intensified feelings of loneliness
• The people Re-Engage help are all extremely lonely, going for days or even weeks without seeing or speaking to another person
