Finance Manager – Immediate Start
Are you an experienced and detail-driven finance professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and take ownership of financial operations across multiple entities.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts across Xero
- Managing purchase invoices and ensuring accurate purchase ledger postings
- Ensuring seamless integration of sales data into accounting records
- Taking on payroll responsibilities including pension & HMRC contributions
- Handling VAT submissions & group VAT returns
- Preparing and reconciling balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
- Declaring IPT liabilities to HMRC
- Supporting period-end close with external accountants
- Managing staff expense claims & responding to wage/pension queries
- Providing monthly cash flow forecasts
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in finance/accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of Xero (or other cloud-based accounting software)
- Confident Excel user
- Hands-on approach to finance operations
- Experience of PAYE, VAT, and IPT reporting
- Familiarity with accounting standards
