About the Role

We are seeking a Stores Operative to join a growing and fast-paced business based in Horsham. This role plays an important part in ensuring stock accuracy, efficient order fulfilment, and smooth goods-in operations within a structured distribution environment.

This position would suit someone who enjoys working in an organised, detail-focused environment where accuracy, traceability, and quality are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing goods-in deliveries, checking items against purchase orders and booking stock into the system
  • Maintaining batch and lot traceability records where required
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders accurately
  • Supporting kitting and repackaging of components where necessary
  • Maintaining a well-organised and tidy stores environment
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory accuracy
  • Supporting improvements to stores processes and efficiency

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or stock control role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience using ERP or inventory systems (preferred but not essential)
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Understanding of traceability or quality control processes would be advantageous
